“I’ve always been drawn to beauty and romance in all their forms”
I'm a California-born, London-based photographer with a deep appreciation for the way an image can hold a moment in place.
As a fine art portrait photographer and creative director, I've spent over fifteen years working within the music industry, making album artwork, press imagery, shooting campaigns and documenting life on tour for artists including Loyle Carner, Bombay Bicycle Club, Natasha Bedingfield, Jessie Buckley, Primal Scream, Kamasi Washington and Martha Wainwright. My work has been exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery and the Children's Museum of Art in New York, and appeared in Vogue, i-D, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, amongst others.
Over time, that world of portraits, artwork and touring led me towards weddings. I found I could bring the same creative eye to something that carries so much emotional weight. I've always been drawn to beauty and romance in all their forms, and there's something uniquely meaningful about being invited into a day that gathers it all together. The people you love. The little details. The quiet moments and the wild ones. It feels like a privilege to be there, and to make a record of it that feels true to you.
When I’m not shooting, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by art, old things and good stories. I have an unashamed enthusiasm for family relics and nostalgia, and I collect all sorts of odd treasures...from Victorian nightgowns to mother‑of‑pearl dance card cases. A considered maximalist, I'd say. I keep only what I love, and I just happen to love a great deal.
Whether I'm photographing an artist, a wedding, or hunting down a Victorian nightgown at a Sunday fair, I'm guided by the same instinct. To find beauty, to honour stories, and to make something that can live outside of time.
So at your wedding, you get all of that. Editorial but never stiff, considered but relaxed, with plenty of room for personality and the unexpected. When I'm there with you, I'm holding the feeling of the day as much as the look of it. The people in it. The details that made it yours. I want your photographs to do what only the best ones can. Put you right back inside it.
With love,
